Your secret place in Dublin is...

Glasnevin Cemetery

If you're looking for hidden gems in Dublin, you definitely don't
want to miss Glasnevin Cemetery. Originating in 1832, Glasnevin is
now a historic cemetery and museum worth visiting.

Home to historic monuments and the resting place of many notable Irish figures, including Michael Collins, the famous nationalist. You could spend hours wandering through the cemetery viewing the historic graves. As you do, you will notice many of the remarkable Celtic crosses that mark the graves of many here. This is one of the many free things to do in Dublin and Glasnevin is definitely not to be missed.

Also, don't miss this brewery...

Fitzsimons Bar

The colorful open-air rooftop beer garden at Fitzsimons is definitely one of the liveliest rooftop bars in Dublin, and is perfect for spending a summer afternoon drinking.

The large outdoor area has plenty of large tables
for groups, with heating for when temperatures start to drop.

Once the night starts, you'll find a traditional
pub on the first floor serving classic meals and a 90's inspired club to keep you entertained all night long. It's definitely a more relaxed option compared to the sometimes more upscale rooftop bars of
Dublin.
