Built for the 1972 Olympic Games, the Olympic Complex is currently used for a variety of recreational activities, ranging from sports to concerts. The 287-meter-high Olympic Tower offers an imposing view of the city.

If the weather is good, from the top you can see all the way to the Alps, and you will also find a revolving restaurant. The famous canopy roof, which covers the entire Olympic Stadium, the Olympic Swimming Pool, and the Olympiahalle, was highly controversial when it was built.

However, it is of timeless beauty and has become an integral part of the city's modern landscape. The Olympiaberg (Olympic Hill) is a grass-covered mound made from World War II rubble and offers a unique view. The ice rink and the swimming pool are also popular with sports enthusiasts, as is the Olympic Stadium, which is home to the FC Bayern Munich football team, one of the most famous teams in all of Europe.
